This style never had something of a latest rage, and that's just why it's still there and going strong. Either it touches you or not, 'cause without doubt, it always comes along with a certain life-attitude of its protagonists. Simple as that. Being over 30 years since the starting point in orange county, southern california, the scene spread all over the world, keeping the style alive and never lose track of its core-competence: some serious horsepower in perfectly prepared cars, ready to run a reasonable 1/4-mile pass at any time.
